The Grand Prix Winners of the “Rzeszów Carpathia Festival” are: Bartosz Jaśkowski, the Pectus band – the winner of “The Audience Nightingale” prize of the Sopot Festival 2008 and “The Debut of the Year” during the 46th National Festival of the Polish Song in Opole, Peter Cmorik Band – the winner of the Golden Nightingale 2008 in Slovakia, Marek Ztracený Band – the musical revelation of the year during “The Czech Nightingale” 2008 and Adam Ďurica Band.
The main prize of the Festival is the subsidy for the winner’s promotion (allocated for the sponsoring of an album recording or for the sponsoring of the costs of the organisation of a concert tour), an invitation to a concert during the next year’s edition of the Festival and a commemorative statuette.
The total pool for the winner is PLN 45,000 (EUR 11,250)
